Thien Doan
President and CEO
As IMT Partners's president and chief executive officer, Thien Doan guides the company's strategic direction and drives its financial performance. He brings over 20 years of experience in the enterprise infrastructure technology and extensive background in building high growth professional service organizations.
Prior to founding IMT Partners, Mr. Doan held senior management positions at Darwin Partners. He was instrumental in developing and growing the Infrastructure Practice business from ground level into a 30-person organization with over $5M in service revenue within two years while building strong relationship and partnerships with major storage firms including EMC, NetApp, Sun, Cisco, and StorageTek. Prior to Darwin, Mr. Doan served as Vice President of Professional Services for Celox Networks where he developed and led the company unified service organization which includes professional services, education, customer services, and sales engineer team that support the roll out of carrier-class switching products to global telecommunications companies.
Prior to Celox, Mr. Doan served as Managing Vice President of Broadband Consulting Division at Lucent Technology (through acquisition of Cascade Communications, Ascend Communications, and INS) where he developed and built the global organization into 200-person team of world-class network design and implementation consultants in the Americas, Asia Pacific, Japan, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) with over $100M in revenue. Prior to Lucent, Mr Doan held various management positions at Netegrity, Cambridge Technology Partners (CTP) and Digital Equipment Corporation.
Mr. Doan received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and advanced management studies in information technology management from University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
Sam Caple
Vice President of Operations and Delivery
Mr. Caple has over 25 years of experience in IT management, program development and standards and process development for corporate IT departments and Professional Services organizations. Sam has served as systems manager, Director of IS and Chief Information Officer of hospitals, University Medical Centers and Professional Services firms. Sam has worked in both the business and technology space for Insurance, Finance, Manufacturing, ISP/ASP, Health Care and managed care, Transportation, and software development firms.
